1. Who we are

Mansa Musa Renaissance Financials Ltd ("Mansa Musa", "we", "us") is a financial technology company registered in Uganda. We operate this website and the Insure Barometer platform at insurebarometer.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this website or using Insure Barometer, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. What our services are — and are not

Insure Barometer is an educational and analytical tool. It helps you understand insurance concepts, estimate a suitable level of cover, review policy documents, and compare financial instruments.

We are not an insurer, an insurance broker, or a licensed financial adviser. We do not sell insurance policies, hold client funds, or place cover on your behalf. Nothing on this website or in the platform constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice.

All calculations, projections and recommendations are estimates for educational purposes, based on the information you provide and on general assumptions. Actual premiums, benefits, returns and tax obligations depend on your full circumstances, the insurer's underwriting, and the law as it applies at the time. Always confirm figures with a licensed provider before making a decision.

4. Regulated providers

Any insurer, bank, SACCO or fund manager referenced on our platform should be independently verified with the relevant Ugandan regulator — the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) for insurers and agents, the Bank of Uganda for banks and credit institutions, and the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) for collective investment schemes. We do not guarantee the performance, solvency or conduct of any third party.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information — our outputs are only as reliable as the figures you enter
• Keep your account credentials confidential and do not share them
• Use the services lawfully, and not to harm, defraud, or mislead others
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or gain unauthorised access to our systems

6. Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that are used unlawfully.

7. Certificates and educational content

Certificates issued through the Life Insurance Academy recognise completion of our educational modules. They are not a professional qualification, and do not license or authorise the holder to sell, advise on, or transact in insurance or investment products.

8. Intellectual property

The content, design, software, branding and materials on this website and in Insure Barometer belong to Mansa Musa Renaissance Financials Ltd or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish or commercially exploit them without our written permission.

9. Third-party links

We may link to other websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.

10. Availability

We aim to keep our services available and accurate, but we provide them "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted access, freedom from error, or that any particular financial outcome will be achieved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, Mansa Musa Renaissance Financials Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on our educational tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
